We hunt some of the major staging areas of the Spring Migration in South Dakota. Lake Thompson in Kingsbury Count will hold thousands of spring snows on their way back North. Also Lake Byron in Beadle County is turning into one of the largest staging areas in South Dakota. The areas around the lake have huge corn and wheat fields giving the returning geese lots of great places for food, water, and rest. Mike has been hunting the areas around the lakes his whole life and has made friends with many of the local farmers, giving wonderful access to some of the best hunting around.
